A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Carrazco founded Happy Kids Pediatrics in 1999 with his wife, Eva Carrazco. He is extremely passionate and committed to his patients and their health and betterment, and strives to serve the community and its individuals by giving them personalized, high-quality care. He aims to build relationships with his patients of all backgrounds, treat, heal, and educate.
Happy Kids Pediatrics is a family-run business whose mission is to serve, educate, and be involved in the community. The doctor and his staff are always ready to serve and give a helping hand to a patient or parent in a time of need. Since its founding, the practice has grown and expanded, and now has eight locations throughout the valley to accommodate as many people as possible.
In regards to his educational background, Dr. Carrazco completed his medical training at the prestigious Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. His residency was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He also specializes in pediatric pulmonology and critical care and completed his training at the University of California, Irvine, and Long Beach Memorial Medical Centers.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Prior to the founding of Happy Kids Pediatrics, Dr. Carrazco was a practicing ICU and pulmonary pediatrician at some of the top hospitals in the nation. He has served on the Board of Pediatrics for Chandler Regional Hospital, and was the Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Saint Mary’s Medical Center and Tri-City Medical Center.
Furthermore, he has served as a medical expert on several news outlets including Capsula de Salud on Univision and Telemundo, as well as on radio shows on La Campesina and Power 98.3. There, he graciously answers callers’ questions and is also featured to address larger medical concerns, such as outbreaks or common medical emergencies. He and his staff at Happy Kids Pediatrics are also frequently involved in health fairs and outreach to educate patients and their parents.

In his spare time, Dr. Carrazco enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his family, including his children and grandchildren. He also enjoys the occasional motorcycle ride and a round of golf.
