Dr. Debi Dalton is currently a full-time hospital administrator. As a pediatric emergency physician, she is responsible for the care of illnesses or injuries of patients requiring immediate medication attention in the emergency room. Dr. Dalton joined the Cobb County Medical Society and Medical Association of Georgia in 2008. She has been an active member of both organizations since joining. Cobb County Medical Society elected Dr. Dalton President in 2014. Dr. Dalton has remained active after her Presidency. Dr. Dalton currently serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Physician advisor for Wellstar Douglas Hospital (WDH) in Douglasville, Georgia. She became a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association of Physician Leaders in 2015.
Dr. Dalton received her Executive Healthcare MBA from George Washington University in 2010. She received her medical degree from the UAG and New York Medical College. Dr. Dalton received her Pharmacy degree from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in Brooklyn, New York. She served as the President of the Medical Staff for Wellstar Cobb Hospital from 2011 to 2013. Previous to her current position, Dr. Dalton was the Medical Director for the Pediatric Emergency Departments at both Wellstar Cobb and Paulding Hospitals. She serves on the Board of the Medical Association of Georgia and is a past-President for the Cobb County Medical Society.
