Get to know Speech Language Pathologist & AAC Specialist Robert E. Vickery, who serves the population of Colorado.

Robert E. Vickery is a speech pathologist with Integral Physical Therapy. At Integral Physical therapy they are passionate about keeping their community healthy by bringing integrity, transparency and social responsibility back to healthcare. They are proud to offer their patients expert advice, detailed education and evidence-based/patient centered care.

Robert holds a Masters of Arts, and hold sa a Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists. 

Speech Language Pathologist specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders (speech disorders and language disorders), cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and swallowing disorders. SLPs also play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (often in a team with pediatricians and psychologists).

Additionally Robert holds expertise in augmentative and alternative communication specialists (AAC). Augmentative communication specialists help verbally disabled people communicate. Augmentative and alternative communication specialists teach clients to use facial expressions and body language, which are known in the field as “unaided” communication. They also help clients use books, graphics, computers and high- and low-tech devices, known as “aided” communication.
