Dr. Uddin graduated from the Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan with his medical degree in 1985. He continued his studies with a residency in internal medicine at the Long Island Jewish Hospital, then completed a fellowship in nephrology with the University of Kentucky. He has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and nephrology. He holds an Arizona state medical license through 2020. To further the field of nephrology, Dr. Uddin has conducted research and published his findings in prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. Dr. Uddin specializes in the kidney, treating such ailments as hypertension (high blood pressure), kidney stones, and kidney failure. He is an expert in the field of dialysis.
