Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a 295-bed acute care facility, providing healthcare services for an 11-county service area in south central Kentucky. A modern, state-of-the-art facility, the hospital offers cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation. It also has a complete clinical laboratory, 24-hour ER, intensive care units, surgical services (including orthopedic and urological), and diagnostic imaging. Other specialty services include women’s and children’s services, a Level II neonatal nursery, cardiopulmonary services, behavioral health unit, and inpatient rehabilitation.

Educated in Pakistan, Dr. Khan graduated with her medical degree from Kabir Medical College in 1980. She then relocated to the United States, performing her residency at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in the Chicagoland area in 1987.

Achieving Diplomate status, she is board-certified through the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
