Dr. Gupta specializes in dental implants, permanent anchors that integrate with the jawbone to provide a stable base for long-term tooth replacement. Customized crowns are attached to the implants and become part of the patient’s jaw.
Dr. Gupta extensive education began when she completed her bachelor degree in Dental Surgery from MAHE University, in Manipal, India. She graduated from Bharti Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, also in India at the top of her class. She moved to the United States and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, established in 1897.
She is licensed by the Dental Board of California and the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Gupta has been practicing dentistry for 20 years and has spent the last 10 focusing on the transformation of smiles with implant dentistry. She immersed herself in the latest digital technologies, dental implant treatments, and functional and esthetic full mouth rehabilitations. In 2015, she founded and opened the Peninsula Dental Implant Center in San Carlos to focus exclusively on dental implants.
Dr. Gupta uses computer guided tools to ensure the most conservative and comfortable treatments for her patients. Using high magnification loupes, microscopes, and micro-surgical instruments, she performs surgery with the micro-surgical technique. Her primary mission is to provide complete dental implant services that are personalized, affordable and convenient.
The recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Dr. Gupta is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the largest and most respected organization dedicated to dental implants. She is certified in oral conscious sedation and has advanced cardiac life support training from the American Heart Association.
She continues her education through countless lectures, dental courses, and educational videos from the most accomplished professionals around the world. She is a member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
