Academically, Dr. Sadeghi received her medical degree from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. She completed two internal medicine residencies – the first at Danderyd Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden and the second at LA County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Licensed to practice medicine in both California and Sweden, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

In addition to her medical duties, Dr. Sadeghi is a mother to two young boys. Her favorite activities include reading, cooking, hiking, traveling, and swimming. She is also a former Stockholm Table Tennis Champion, and fluent in English, Swedish, and Farsi.
