Get to know Internist Dr. Vedat Obuz, who serves patients in Trenton, New Jersey.

A seasoned internist, Dr. Obuz is the Founder of MediSlim by Physicians, a network of physicians dedicated to the medical treatment of obesity. He has a special interest in nutritional medicine and its role in preventing metabolic disorders such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and other related conditions. His approach to patient care is holistic, focusing on the prevention of illness and disease as well as the treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

Originally from Turkey, he graduated with his medical degree from the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in 1996.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Obuz serves on the board of three major HMOs, providing him with a unique perspective on healthcare delivery and management. His insights and expertise in this area have contributed to improving the quality of care and access to medical services for patients.
