Dr. Altaqi holds multiple certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, including Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Altaqi completed his medical education at the esteemed University of Aleppo in 2000. He further honed his expertise through a rigorous residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Charity Hospital/St. Luke’s Medical Center from 2002 to 2005. Following this, he undertook a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, where he expanded his knowledge and skills from 2008 to 2011.
