Born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Molina earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and completed the Fifth Pathway program at New York Medical College. He went on to complete his residency at
Beth Israel Medical Center/St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University program which was a chief resident and completed two fellowships, Oncology surgical pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Cytopathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Campus.
Following his education, the doctor attained board certification in anatomic & clinical pathology and cytopathology through the American Board of Pathology (ABPath). The mission of the ABPath is to promote the health of the public and advance the practice and science of pathology by establishing voluntary certification standards and assessing the qualifications of those seeking to practice the specialty of pathology.
Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Molina is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (FCAP).
