VCU Health Stony Point 9000 is proud to announce the addition of Karen Isaacs-Charles, DO, MS, CPE, to its team of dedicated healthcare professionals. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Isaacs-Charles is a seasoned osteopathic family medicine physician committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the Richmond community.

Dr. Isaacs-Charles earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in 2003. She completed her internship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in Brooklyn, followed by two prestigious residencies in family medicine at Peninsula Hospital Center and Good Samaritan University Hospital. Her extensive training has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of family medicine and a deep commitment to holistic patient care.

As a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Board of Family Physicians, Dr. Isaacs-Charles is board-certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She holds medical licenses in New York, Virginia, and Maryland, allowing her to serve a diverse range of patients and communities. Her approach to medicine emphasizes the importance of treating the whole person, integrating physical, emotional, and social health aspects into her practice.
