As a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, Dr. Konti’s areas of focus include cataract surgery with multifocal and toric lens implantation, refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK), corneal transplantation including advanced procedures such as DSEK (Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty), and DALK (Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty, primarily for treating Keratoconus). Specializing in corneal and refractive surgery, he joined the practice of Ophthalmic Surgeons & Physicians, Ltd. in August of 2011.

With offices in Tempe and Ahwatukee/Phoenix, Arizona, Ophthalmic Surgeons & Physicians, Ltd. has provided the highest level of eye care for more than 35 years. After residency, he completed a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, which is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
