After earning his medical degree from the University College London in London, England, Dr. Kesani relocated to the United States to complete his residency in orthoapedic surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He then undertook additional training in spine surgery by completing a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgery spine fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society, the doctor is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, which is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.
