Get to know Pediatric Dentist Dr. Ari J. Sugarman, who serves patients in Clifton, New Jersey.

A highly trained pediatric dentist, Dr. Sugarman tends to patients in Passaic County at his private practice, Clifton Pediatric Dental Care. He opened the practice after spending several years working in a New York health center.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Sugarman earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and continued his general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Montefiore Medical Center, which afforded him the knowledge necessary to treat a wide range of dental problems in children and adolescents. In addition, he was specifically trained to meet the complex dental needs of children with associated medical, emotional or sensory issues.

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. A pediatric dentist specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the dental problems of children from infancy to young adulthood. They usually care for special needs patients as well.

On a more personal note, Dr. Sugarman lives in Bergen County with his wife and four children, with whom he loves spending his free time.
