Born in Rochester, New York, Dr. Kris Togias completed his early education in Greece. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Togias completed his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Rochester before moving to Boston.
He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a postgraduate specialty residency in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics.
As a dentist with additional and specialized treatment in orthodontics, Dr. Togias recognizes various characteristics of a malocclusion or dentofacial deformity. He’ll define the nature of the problem, including the etiology, to design a treatment strategy based on your specific needs and goals.
Dr. Togias provides comprehensive, high-quality orthodontic care focused on individualized treatment to meet the unique needs of patients of all ages.
While treating early orthodontic and adolescent cases, Dr. Togias also specializes in managing issues in children with growth and development concerns and syndromes such as:
- Cleft lip & palate
- Congenitally missing teeth
- Impacted and supernumerary teeth
- Combination orthodontic & orthognathic surgery treatments for adults
Dr. Togias offers multiple corrective appliances from clear aligner therapies such as Invisalign® treatment, clear and metal braces, InBrace, and Incognito™ lingual braces.
He is proud to offer the most current and effective orthodontic treatments to children and adults through his ongoing continued education on new treatment methods and orthodontic technology.

Dr. Togias is an active member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists® (AAO) and the American Dental Association® (ADA).
As a member of the New York County Dental Society, Dr. Togias volunteers annually with free oral health services for the Give Kids a Smile event for underserved children and other local charity events.
