The main office, in Altamonte Springs, is a 30,000 square foot building that also houses a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgical Center with three operating suites.
Professionally, Dr. Jochum is also the current Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology for all Advent Health Hospitals of Central Florida. He is an active investigator in several national clinical research trials.
Military experience, he is a retired Captain, US Navy with 28 years of service and assignments around the globe as a Naval Flight Surgeon and Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Jochum graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine, then completed his internship at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida, followed by Naval Aerospace Medical Institute Flight Surgeon training and then Ophthalmology residency at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
