How is arthritis treated with acupuncture?
It all depends on your situation. If you have many painful places and had been taking medicine for a long time (longer than 3 months), herbs may be needed to combine with acupuncture. If you just have one or two joints involved, treatment will be much easier. Hope this helps. READ MORE
Lately I've been experiencing a lot of fatigue. Can acupuncture help?
Yes. Fatigue is commonly related to two reasons based on Chinese medicine: 1) Qi stagnation (modern medicine will manifest as depression, frustration or not happy, lack of interests, etc.) 2) Qi weakness: this is related to malnutrition, does not eat well, picky with food, etc., or a weak digestive system, etc. Acupuncture combined with Chinese herbs will be a good solution. Why do I have so much gas and bloating?
There are three reasons: 1) Poor eating habits: eating too fast, not chewing well, irregular meals, too full sometimes 2) Contents of food: some people are not good with digesting dairy, beans, etc., and eat too much of those at a time. 3) Disorders of some body conditions, like lack of certain enzymes, some stomach and intestinal disorders, etc. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal supplements will be helpful for all those cases. Can acupuncture improve sleep?
Yes. Acupuncture is commonly used to treat insomnia or anxiety from its sedating effect. Many people fall asleep during my acupuncture treatment for other issues. No risk. It is fine to combine acupuncture treatment with your regular medicine for your hypertension. It may reduce the use of your regular medication in the future, or slow down the progression of your hypertension. READ MORE

Acupuncture for hair loss would not be the first choice. Chinese herbal supplements would be more practical, because most of hair loss are related to malnutrition or aging.
