Greenbelt Endoscopy Center was established in 1996 by eight well-respected gastroenterologists who devoted their profession to serving the community. Academically, he graduated in 1972 from the Government Medical College in Srinagar Kashmir, India. Relocating to the United States, he performed his residency in general surgery at Providence Hospital, and his residency in internal medicine at Prince George’s Hospital Center. Finally, he did his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Georgetown University Medical Center and at D.C. General Hospital.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in gastroenterology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
