Dr. Vuu was born in Saigon, Vietnam and came to America when he was 2 years old. His family initially settled in Pennsylvania, but moved to Sugar Land, TX in 1990. Dr. Vuu graduated from Dulles High School and attended Eastern Mennonite University. He subsequently moved back to Houston and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch. Dr. Vuu graduated at the top of his Dental School class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Following Dental School he was accepted into the dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Texas Dental Branch where he received extensive training in facial trauma, jaw reconstruction, dental implant procedures, sedation, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, dental extractions, and corrective jaw surgery. As part of his training Dr. Vuu received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and also completed a one year General Surgery Internship at the same institution. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In his spare time Dr. Vuu likes to hang out with his wife and two kids, run, bike, swim, watch sports, and work on his golf game. He and his wife also love traveling, going to new restaurants, and trying different foods.

Upon graduating from Dulles High School, Dr. Vuu attended Eastern Mennonite University. He subsequently moved back to Houston and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch where he graduated at the top of his class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Board certified, Dr. Vuu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). The ABOMS ensures that Diplomates meet the standards of training, education, and professionalism through the certification process.
Actively engaged in several professional organizations that reflect his commitment to the field of dentistry and oral surgery, Dr. Vuu is a dedicated member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, the Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, the Greater Houston Dental Society, where he serves on the New Dentist Committee, as well as the Houston Asian American Dental Society, where he serves as the Community Volunteer Director.
