Dr. Conrad Ballecer is a highly respected and internationally renowned surgeon. His acclaimed career in medicine began after graduating with his Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. After medical school, Dr. Ballecer completed his internship and residency training at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Driven to further his knowledge and expertise, he went on to undertake his Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship with the Greenville Health System in South Carolina. Dr. Ballecer is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is passionate about enhancing his patients’ quality of life and providing the best outcomes possible, while delivering the highest standard of care. Dr. Ballecer provides expert surgical treatment for a wide array of conditions, and is recognized as a specialist in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. He has pioneered many techniques in robotic surgery with a particular interest in robotic hernia repair. He has demonstrated his passion for education by becoming a world-renowned leader in robotic hernia repair. He has travelled the globe teaching robotic hernia repair, and has proctored, mentored, and performed live surgeries in over 5 continents and 10 countries. General surgeons not only perform surgeries for a wide range of common ailments, but are also responsible for patient care before, during, and after surgery. General surgeons are trained to operate on the Alimentary Tract (esophagus and related organs), Abdomen and its Contents, Breast, Skin and Soft Tissue, and the Endocrine System. In addition, general surgeons are expected to have knowledge and experience in Surgical Critical Care, Surgical Oncology, and Trauma.
