Dr. David Craig Lindsey, a highly regarded medical professional with over two decades of experience, is making significant strides in emergency medicine, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. With a robust educational background and board certification in emergency medicine, Dr. Lindsey has established himself as a visionary leader, recognized for his innovation, education, and leadership in the medical field.

His educational journey began in California where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California in 1984. Dr. Lindsey pursued a career as a Research Scientist at Bayer, in Berkeley, CA.  Dr. Lindsey’s scientific research led to multiple publications and a corporate award for scientific achievement.   Dr. Lindsey’s passion for medicine culminated in his Medical Degree, which he obtained in 1995 from Albany Medical College in NY. 

Dr. Lindsey served as the Medical Director at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Wound and Hyperbaric Center for over 15 years. Dr. Lindsey was instrumental in enhancing patient care, clinical outcomes and he led the Hyperbaric treatment program to achieve national recognition and accreditation with distinction from the UHMS.  His expertise in hyperbaric oxygen therapy has led to innovative treatment methods, including groundbreaking approaches to reversing long COVID-19 symptoms. Dr. Lindsey’s commitment to patient care is matched by his dedication to educating future physicians as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico Hospital.

In addition to his clinical and educational roles, Dr. Lindsey has significantly contributed to medical research, focusing on innovative treatments of sepsis and hemorrhagic shock. His research has been widely recognized and published in esteemed medical journals, highlighting his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Lindsey has received numerous honors throughout his illustrious career, including membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society and the S. Oakley Vander Poel Prize for outstanding clinical exams from Albany Medical College. Bayer HealthCare and UC Davis have also acknowledged his scientific achievements, reflecting his dedication to excellence in both research and clinical practice.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Lindsey enjoys mountain and road cycling, alpine skiing, and travel, activities that enrich his dynamic and multifaceted career. His extensive experience and unwavering dedication to emergency and hyperbaric medicine have established him as a pillar in the medical community of Santa Fe and beyond.
