From a young age, Dr. Granger harbored a steadfast aspiration to become a dentist, ignited during the 7th grade. Fuelled by a passion for both arts and sciences, he was fortunate to find a mentor who recognized his fervor and graciously allowed him to shadow in his practice after school. Through this invaluable experience, Dr. Granger gleaned profound insights into dentistry, learning not only the technical aspects but also the importance of compassionate patient care.
His journey led him to pursue higher education, culminating in the attainment of his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Following his degree, Dr. Granger spent two years in advanced residency programs. Pursuing excellence, he became a Fellow of Implant Surgery and an Associate Fellow with the World Institute of Laser Dentistry.
Over a span of 13 years, Dr. Granger has worked with multiple practices from family to private, learning community outreach, management, and entrepreneurial skills that would later help build Oral Health Associates. There, he and Dr. Albert Coombs III built a foundation that would become Smile Services DC, providing quality dental care to the District of Columbia and surrounding areas.
Among his professional dental affiliations, Dr. Granger is an active member of the International Dental Implant Association, the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Driven by a commitment to continual growth and improvement, his goal is to provide the best dental prevention possible, striving to mitigate the need for invasive procedures.
