Dr. James Frommer is a distinguished Family Medicine Specialist in Duncansville, PA with nearly 30 years of practice experience.  He has a vast array of clinical experience and interstest ranging from preventative are to sports medicine.  He provides care to the full patient.  His philosphy in care is that your are treating a human not a test result or x-ray report.  He follows the tenants of AT Still in that the body works as a unit and has the ability to heal itself.  He takes pride in his vast knowledge and does not overutilize specialty care unless there is a specific procedure or question to be answered.  He has special interest in Cardiac, Pulmonary, Renal and Msucoloskeletal Care.  He contiues to use Osteopathic Principles and Practice in the diagnosis and treatment of his patients including that of OMM.  He has found new interest in Functional and Nutritional Medicine as well as Regenerative Medicine and the benefits of Chelation Therapy.

Frommer, Jr., DO, a board-certified osteopathic physician with nearly three decades of experience, is proud to announce the launch of innovative healthcare programs at Quantum HealthCare Services, LLC, in Duncansville, Pennsylvania. With a profound commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Frommer Jr. offers Remote Patient Monitoring and Chronic Care Management programs designed to enhance healthcare accessibility and improve health outcomes for patients of all ages.

Dr. Frommer Jr. brings a wealth of expertise in family medicine, osteopathic manual medicine, regenerative medicine, and sports medicine. His particular interest in neurology and cardiology, combined with advanced training in memory disorders and concussions, equips him to address a wide range of patient needs. 

A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dr. Frommer Jr. holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Lycoming College, where he actively participated in the athletic training program. He completed the requirements to sit for and successfully pass the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification as a certified athletic trainer. He worked with each sport within Lycoming College’s Department of Athletics, including the 1990 National Finalist Division III Football team.  

After graduation, Dr. Frommer Jr. moved to Philadelphia, where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as part of the Class of 1996. Following an American Osteopathic Association Rotating Internship at the former Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center, he had the opportunity to train in general and orthopedic surgery prior to completing his residency in family medicine at Temple University School of Medicine affiliate Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown.

Dr. Frommer Jr.’s diverse experience includes serving as a team physician for various high schools, Moravian College, and the Philadelphia Force, as well as a member of the National Pro Fastpitch professional softball league. He is also recognized for his pioneering work in sports medicine, having established the first Sports Concussion-specific clinic in the Greater Lehigh Valley. 

In addition to his sports medicine roles, Dr. Frommer Jr. has held significant positions, such as Medical Director for PIAA Wrestling tournaments and Site Medical Director for the National Prep Wrestling Tournament. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to serving vulnerable populations, having worked as a hospitalist and emergency room physician in the Department of Corrections for Pennsylvania. His recent return to private practice reflects his dedication to personalized care and the doctor-patient relationship.

In his practice at Quantum HealthCare Services, LLC, Dr. Frommer Jr. is implementing cutting-edge programs that utilize technology to monitor patients remotely, allowing for real-time health assessments.
