    We have been patients of Dr. J for over 20 years. We have no doubt we are receiving the very best possible dental care. Our children (now young adults) always looked forward to their dentist visits due to the friendly, caring atmosphere. We highly recommend this practice.

The Owner of Glen Ellyn Smiles in Illinois, Dr. Jungblut has been practicing general dentistry for 25+ years in the Western Suburbs.

Regardless of age, she provides comprehensive dental services for patients, their families, and others. She believes one should be as comfortable as possible while undergoing dental procedures and strives to keep the atmosphere in the office relaxed and friendly.

A lifelong native of the Chicagoland area, Dr. Jungblut graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Augustana College. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree / Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

Continuing education and updating her skills are important to Dr. Jungblut. As a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, she is working towards her Mastership. 

In 2017, she completed the Competency Study Series with The Metz Center for Sleep and, in 2019, she completed the Mastery Classes with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. 

A Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Jungblut now helps her patients live better, happier, and healthier lives by treating snoring and sleep apnea conditions.

She is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She continues to volunteer, when needed, with the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team.

More recently, Dr. Jungblut spent 7 years as an Adjunct Faculty member at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

For fun and relaxation, Dr. Jungblut spends her time quilting, singing in a show chorus, and enjoying time with her family and 3 Newfoundland dogs.
