Dr. Francone is board-certified in colon & rectal surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery (ABCRS). He is also board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS).

Dr. Francone received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He then went on to complete his residencies at Lahey Clinic, New York Presbyterian-Cornell, and Saint Vincent’s Hospital. He also completed his fellowship training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
