Get to know Dentist Dr. Oscar E. Gonzalez, who serves patients in West Hartford, Connecticut. 

Dr. Gonzalez is a highly trained and experienced dentist in private practice in West Hartford, Connecticut. He offers the highest quality dental care (cosmetic, restorative, and implant) utilizing the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology.

From a routine exam and cleaning to full-mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Gonzalez is equipped to handle all dental needs. His warm, friendly approach involves a thorough consultation and examination followed by recommendations prior to any treatment. He views it as his mission to educate his patients about all of their oral health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs. 

A graduate of Marquette University and Georgetown School of Dental Medicine in 1987, Dr. Gonzalez has completed advanced training and has received certificates from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he has received advanced certificates in restorative and cosmetic procedures. 

Committed to excellence, advanced dental education and training, he is currently certified in “Invisalign” and other cosmetic services. He has also completed a continuum of education in implant dentistry from New York University. 

A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Hartford Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Academy of Implant Dentistry. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

Consistently recognised as one of Connecticut’s “Top Dentists” by Hartford Magazine and Connecticut Magazine,  Dr. Gonzalez’ number one priority is a healthy smile. Exemplary patient care, outstanding aesthetic results, compassion, and integrity are the cornerstones of his dental practice.
