Beginning his professional pursuits with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Pre-Med from the University of Notre Dame, he went on to further his training by completing his medical education at the University of Toledo Medical College, where he was a recipient of many awards. He completed his internship at HealthOne Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital, and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center/Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Ophthalmology Resident his last year.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is dual board-certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS) and the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
