A dedicated otolaryngologist, Dr. Patel is affiliated with The ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas, based in McKinney. He offers comprehensive medical care for a wide range of diseases and disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, and other areas of the head and neck. His expertise focuses on: chronic sinus disease, sinus surgery and skull base surgery, allergies, facial reconstructive surgery, head and neck conditions, laryngology, otology/neurotology, pediatric otolaryngology, and rhinology.
Notably, he is one of the few fellowship-trained rhinologists in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex, having received advanced training in disorders of the nose and paranasal sinuses, encompassing both advanced medical treatments and minimally invasive surgical interventions.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing his medical degree from Texas Tech. Following this, he completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Florida, and pursued a fellowship in rhinology & skull base surgery at the renowned University of Pittsburgh.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.
After completing his training, he returned to Texas and served as a divisional director of otolaryngology for Baylor Scott & White, overseeing the Austin area. However, he has recently joined the ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas to be closer to his family and to be a part of one of the fastest-growing practices in North Texas.
