The Medical Center of South Arkansas is a general acute-care Level III Trauma Center hospital licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health. Their 166-bed facility’s inpatient services include emergency services, obstetrics and newborn care, pediatric care, intensive care, otolaryngology, general surgery, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, SNF, interventional cardiology, addiction management, and many other specialties. 

Dr. Schrader received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Universidad de El Salvador Facultad de Medicina in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1974. He went on to complete a residency at St. Elizabeth Health Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. As a cardiologist, Dr. Schrader specializes in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels and the cardiovascular system. These conditions include heart attacks, heart murmurs, coronary heart disease, and hypertension. 

Dr. Schrader has published several papers including Prosthetic ball free in the left ventricle in a patient with an aortic Starr-Edwards prosthesis in the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine in April of 1988.
