After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1989, Dr. Tse went on to receive his specialty training at UCLA’s Center for Esthetic Dentistry, where he served a mini-residency from 1993 to 1994. This training enabled him to give lectures on ceramic coloration, teaching dentists how to match a porcelain crown to the natural remaining dentition. For many years, he has discussed various aspects of cosmetic dentistry and how to help patients achieve individualized smile makeovers.
His professional accomplishments include membership in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also wrote a monthly column for the Sacramento District Dental Society’s magazine, The Nugget, entitled “The Esthetic Zone”.
