Get to know Family Physician Dr. Shannon Price, who serves patients in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Described as a caring and professional family physician, Dr. Price is the Owner & Operator of Evolve Medical Center, LLC in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

“Evolve Medical Center provides complete adult primary care services. Each patient undergoes a comprehensive physical and mental wellness assessment, and we customize a health maintenance treatment plan tailored to individual needs. Our goal is to eliminate or reduce chronic medications, and establish a plan for long term wellness and disease prevention. We have an onsite IV suite, offering the latest therapies in nutritional supplementation and wellness, along with hydration and IV vitamin therapy for acute illnesses. We also offer urgent care services for local residents and tourists” as stated on their website. 

Academically, Dr. Price graduated with her high school diploma from La Reina High School in 1995. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999, after which she obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008.

A member of the American Osteopathic Association, the doctor is board-certified in family practice and osteopathic manipulative medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (ABOFP). The ABOFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Licensed to practice medicine in Hawaii, Dr. Price is affiliated with Kona Community Hospital and West Hawaii Community Health Center.
