Get to know Anesthesiologist Dr. Kirk N. Rossiter, who serves patients in Slidell, Louisiana. 

Dr. Rossiter is an anesthesiologist serving Slidell and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH), a leader in healthcare on the Northshore, we offer advanced technology and innovative treatments to help keep their community well, including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, the SMH Heart Center, the SMH Regional Cancer Center, and the SMH Physicians Network. 

In regards to his education, Dr. Rossiter earned his Medical Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2004. He then completed his internship with the Louisiana State University and his anesthesiology residency with the Ochsner Clinic Foundation. 

Dr. Rossiter is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The ABA aims to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. 

Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during and after surgery. As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Rossiter ensures the safety of patients who are about to undergo surgery. He may also help manage pain after an operation.
