Dr. Snowball is a Stanford University-trained physiatrist and acupuncturist serving patients at Integrated Pain Solutions in Stamford, Connecticut. She specializes in pain management and mobility so patients can move freely without pain.

Her philosophy is that the body is an integrated machine of moving parts. This view led her to utilize a non-surgical, integrated medical approach to solving her patients’ pain and mobility issues.

At Integrated Pain Solutions, Dr. Snowball treats a variety of conditions such as headaches, hip pain, knee pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain. She offers a wide range of medical treatments, including joint injections, regenerative medicine, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and extracorporeal pulse activation technology (EPAT®), in conjunction with nontraditional medical practices such as yoga, acupuncture, physical therapy, and massage. These treatments form the foundation for her practice and lead to long-term healing for her patients.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Snowball graduated with her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1985. She then went on to perform her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1989.

Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry and physiatrics, is a branch of medicine that aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities. Physiatrists treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.

Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.
