A seasoned oncologist, Dr. Lehrich has worked with patients throughout the United States in the private and public sector.
Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she received her medical degree from the UConn School of Medicine in 1994. She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1998 and 2001, respectively.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
In order to remain up to date in her field, Dr. Lehrich is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Florida Medical Association.
