Abby Rosen, PhD, cofounder and former director of InnerSource, Inc., is a licensed psychologist who has worked with individuals and couples for thirty-nine years. Throughout her life, she has woven the threads of psychology and spirituality into a rich tapestry of professional and personal experience. She received her doctorate from California Institute of Integral Studies in 1981. Abby spent a year studying meditation and Eastern psychology in India, and helped coordinate the Seventh International Transpersonal Psychology Conference in Mumbai, India, in 1982. She was director of the Marriage Family Counseling Clinic in San Diego, has written a newspaper column called Dear Dr. Abby, and hosted a cable-TV show called “All about Women and the People in Their Lives,” which addressed a variety of medical and psychological topics. Dr. Rosen has given numerous workshops in the field of transpersonal psychology, the integration of psychology and spirituality. Topics include Communication for Transformation; Voice Dialogue—the Psychology of Selves; Meditation and Kabbalah; the Joys and Jolts of Relationships; Our Intuitive Wisdom; and the Power of the Mind. Abby lives in Annapolis, Maryland, and has received 11 awards for LASTING Transformation: A Guide to Navigating Life’s Journey, including 1st place -Best Non-Fiction Book of the Summer 2024. Also, Dr. Abby Rosen has recently been honored as a Top Doc for Excellence in Psychology in The Best In Maryland Magazine for 2024.
