Dr. Sims is a dentist and oral & maxillofacial surgeon who is highly experienced in the field of cosmetic and general dentistry. Dr. Sims earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Westchester Medical Center, located in Valhalla, New York. Thereafter, he went on to complete an internship in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Detroit Medical Center (2004-2005), followed by a residency at New York Medical College (2005-2009).

Dr. Sims is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Assistants Association, and the Omega Psi Phi (an international fraternity).

Dr. Sims’s parents never went to the dentist, which led to his curiosity of the field of dentistry.

Today, Dr. Sims attributes his success to his love of dentistry and oral & maxillofacial surgery. He prides himself in mentoring new dentists and medical professionals from every specialty, offering his assistance to anyone in need.

As a dentist and oral & maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Sims diagnoses and treats dental issues, as well as helps patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. He typically performs procedures such as tooth extractions (especially wisdom teeth), corrective jaw surgery, cleft palate surgery, and reconstructive surgery after an injury.
