Specializing in neurology and pain management, Dr. Ortolani is the Founder of DNA Center for Neurology and Rehabilitation in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Tending to patients with the utmost respect and empathy, he treats multiple sclerosis, seizures, strokes, Alzheimer’s disease, neck/back pain, spasms, restless legs syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, and many other conditions. He also offers physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and laser therapy, as well as electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and MRI for diagnostic purposes.

Upon graduating with his medical degree from the University of Bologna – Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Italy in 1972, Dr. Ortolani relocated to the United States. Once there, he performed his internship and residencies in psychiatry and neurology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.  

A Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Ortolani is a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc., and the Florida Medical Association.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
