After medical school, he continued on at UTMB as a resident in the Department of General Surgery. He then extended his studies to include anti-aging medicine over the next 20 years on continuing medical education.
Prior to becoming interested in the problems and treatments of aging, Dr. LeConey specialized in emergency medicine and is also board-certified in emergency medicine.
Among his professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, Endocrine Society, the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology, and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
Specialized in wellness and anti-aging medicine for the last 25 years, Dr. LeConey is board-certified through the American Board of Antiaging Medicine. He is also a certified Allergan trainer, and trains physicians and nurses in the injection of BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, and KYBELLA®.
