Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. John J. Rush, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

A prominent emergency physician, Dr. Rush is the CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Arthritis Knee Pain Center, with offices in Dallas and Woodlands, Texas.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Rush obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in 1983, and graduated with his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University in 1987. He completed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at the Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1990, and went on to complete his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) and his Master of Health Administration degree (MHA) from Pfeiffer University.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
