Dr. Arcila has always had a passion for helping others, a passion she now expresses through her dentistry. She feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful field and joins Dr. Wright and Dr. Heron in practice at Wright Smiles.
From compassionate general care to expert cosmetic and restorative dental treatment, Dr. Arcila helps patients of all ages throughout the Southlake community experience the joys of excellent dental health. She feels that communication is a key to success, and looks forward to listening to and getting to know each and every one of her patients.
A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Arcila earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Dental Studies from Texas Woman’s University in 2010. She then went on to graduate with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Texas A&M University School of Dentistry in 2015.
Practicing as a general dentist, she worked at MB2 Dental in Huntsville (June 2015 – Apr 2016) and then at DECA Dental Group (May 2016 – April 2023), before joining the dental team at Wright Smiles.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Born and raised in Dallas, Dr. Arcila’s family is from Colombia. Her family consists of her husband (her high school sweetheart), her son, and their two shih tzu puppies.
During her free time, she enjoys family gatherings, movies, and anything water related. One can always find her at a pool or a beach in the summer.
