Get to know Internist Dr. Mira Agrawal, who serves patients in Canton, Michigan.

A board-certified internist & lifestyle medicine physician, Dr. Agrawal works with her patients to take control of their health through dietary modifications and lifestyle changes.

Having been in practice since 1996, she works at Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care – Cherry Hill Village in Canton, Michigan. She is also a faculty member at Trinity Health Academic Internal Medicine and serves as an attending at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital.

In caring for patients, Dr. Agrawal believes in a collaborative team approach between physician, patient, and specialists. She has clinical interests in chronic disease management and preventive medicine through a lifestyle medicine approach. 

“I take a proactive approach to wellness, guiding the patients through education, discussion and enhanced patient care” she says.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Agrawal graduated with her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1991. She then went on to perform her internship at James Connolly Memorial Hospital in 1992, followed by her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor in 1996. 

With over three decades of experience, the doctor is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).

​Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

On a more personal note, Dr. Agrawal is fluent in English and Hindi.
