Get to know Family Physician Dr. Nidal Hammoud, who serves patients throughout the State of Michigan.

A committed family physician, Dr. Hammoud specializes in providing comprehensive healthcare services for individuals of all age groups. His commitment extends beyond diagnosing and treating illnesses as he places a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare, conducting regular checkups, administering tests, and providing personalized guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, Dr. Hammoud offers his services at Get Well Urgent Care Of Harper Woods, Get Well Urgent Care of Shelby, and Get Well Urgent Care Of Southfield. He is also affiliated with Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and Ascension Providence Hospital.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Hammoud graduated with his Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2004. He then went on to perform his residency in family medicine at Ascension Providence Hospital from 2004 until 2007.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Hammoud is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Hammond credits his success to hard work and persistence. To quote a friend’s motto: “All gas-no brakes.”
