Recognized as an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist and women’s health specialist, Dr. Wedergren focuses on DaVinci robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, in-office gynecologic procedures, and general obstetrics and gynecology. Currently, Dr. Wedergren is involved with resident education as an Associate Clinical Professor at Creighton University and as a Consulting Physician at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is also on staff at both Bergan Mercy Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital.
Among her most notable achievements, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
A 1997 graduate of the College of Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Wedergren went on to serve her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same educational venue in 2001. Following her training, she joined Mid City OB-GYN, P.C.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is a member of the Metro Omaha Medical Society, the Nebraska Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
