Back in 1998, Dr. Warhaftig graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in family medicine and her fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Miami in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), the doctor is board-certified in family medicine, geriatric medicine, addiction medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
