Dr. Khan, a board-certified pain management specialist and anesthesiologist, established his interventional practice – Pain Medicine, Inc. – in the Lakeland area in 1997. Throughout this time, he has personally seen over 50,000 patients and has performed over 30,000 different interventional pain procedures without complications and with good outcomes.

Wanting to further his training, he completed his fellowship in acute & chronic interventional pain management at New York Medical College and his fellowship in critical care at the University of South Florida.

A Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, he is board-certified in anesthesiology, critical care medicine, and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The mission of the ABA is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
