Academically, Dr. Colospate graduated from the prestigious Government Dental College in Bangalore, India, in 2001, and continued on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2006.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Northern Virginia has been Dr. Colospate’s home for the past ten years. She lives there with her husband and daughter. Spending time with her family when she is not in the office is the highlight of her day. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, and adventure sports.
