He attended an Ivy League university in the United States and returned to Canada for medical school at The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed 9 years of surgical training after medical school. Dr. Berman completed his Plastic Surgery Training and a fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
