Prior to his current endeavours, he served as Medical Director of Neonatal Intensive Care and Medical Director of Women’s and Children’s Respiratory Care at Pediatrix Medical Group of Mississippi (June 2015 – January 2021), and as Medical Director / Neonatal ICU/ Medical Director of Women’s and Children’s Respiratory Care at Natchez Trace Neonatology, PA (July 1997 – January 2021).
A 1987 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Darling went on to perform his internship and residency at Naval Medical Center in 1988 and 1990, respectively. He followed this up with a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 1993.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP exists to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents.
