Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Daniel S. Gordon, who serves patients in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.

The Founder of Gordon Chiropractic, Dr. Gordon has proudly served the West Bloomfield, Walled Lake, Commerce, and White Lake communities for the past two decades.

He works alongside Dr. Susan K. Dorgai, providing a successful outcome for every patient that they treat in the most economical and time efficient manner possible. Helping people overcome their health issues and live pain free, healthier lives is what drives them. The patient is the number one priority at Gordon Chiropractic, making sure that “no stone is left unturned” in achieving better health.

In the early days of his academic career, Dr. Gordon graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1993. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2000. That same year, he returned to Michigan and began working as an associate doctor in Farmington Hills.

In 2003, Dr. Gordon decided to open his own office. Wanting to serve the community where he and his family live, Gordon Chiropractic opened its doors in September of 2003, in West Bloomfield Township.

Since then, he has done his best to serve the area as if it were his own family. An unselfish supporter of many organizations, schools and charities, including but not limited to, Walled Lake Schools, Waterford, Huron Valley and West Bloomfield schools/sports/pta, Open Door Outreach, St. Judes, St Patricks and St Marys, Breaking and Entering Christmas, English Oaks Montessori, and many more throughout his career, he took over the coordinator responsibilities of the Julie Run – a 5K/10K charity run that supports the Open Door Outreach Center in Waterford from 2011-2013.

In 2007, the Open Door Outreach Center awarded Dr. Gordon as its Golden Key recipient. In 2011-2014, he and Gordon Chiropractic were voted into Hour Magazine’s Top Doctor Issue for Chiropractic by his peers and patients. Also in 2011, the Walled Lake PTSA awarded Dr. Gordon with its Certificate of Merit for his constant support of the PTSA, Walled Lake Schools Sports and Music Departments, and the Walled Lake Parenting Fair.

A member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, he is certified through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). The NBCE is a non-profit national and international testing organization for the chiropractic profession that develops, administers, analyzes, scores, and reports results from various examinations.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.
