Her passion for medicine led her to complete her medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1998. Drawn to the field of pediatrics, she conducted her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1998-2001).

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

Licensed to practice medicine in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Dr. Holtz maintains hospital privileges at several local hospitals, including Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. Over the years, she has received several honors and recognitions, including being listed among the Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctors: 1st Edition, as well as Philadelphia Magazine‘s Top Doctors ( 2018-2021), and being voted among Exceptional Women in Medicine (2020).
